Vinzenz Pyka has been a Research Associate at the Chair of Economics, with a focus on Labor Market and Regional Policy at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) since April 2022. He studied Economic Sciences with a focus on Business and Economics Education at FAU, completing his Bachelor’s degree between 2015 and 2019, followed by a Master of Science in Economics (MSE). During his studies, he gained international academic experience at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing, People’s Republic of China, and at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. His professional experience includes internships at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in Nuremberg and international internships in Manila, Philippines, at the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and the Labor Education and Research Network (LEARN). His research interests lie in empirical labor market research, with work on topics such as unionization and industrial relations.
